What policies should cities adopt?
The Intercultural Cities (ICC) programme has launched a series of videos addressing local governments wishing to evolve as intercultural municipalities. The videos give advice on how to adapt cities’ institutions and services to the needs of a diverse population by implementing strategies that guarantee equal opportunities for everyone, without compromising fundamental principles of respect for human rights, democracy and the rule of law.
How can refugees use their talents to benefit their new societies? How can local policies ensure their dignity is respected? How can an intercultural integration approach help to make diversity an advantage for all?
