Size doesn't matter to get the job done!
Don't underestimate people with disabilities....
This video was produced in Lisbon for the Council of Europe by students at the Universidade Lusófona. It highlights the problems of patronising attitudes and discrimination that are often faced by disabled people in the jobs market. In this case, it underlines that disability is no barrier to holding a senior position in an organisation.
The Council of Europe supports the equal opportunities, and workers’ rights of disabled persons. It does this through activities based around equality and non-discrimination; awareness-raising; accessibility; equal recognition before the law and freedom from exploitation, violence or abuse.
