When you don't exist...
Migrants just want a normal life
This film, made by Amnesty International, seeks to make the plight of migrants visible. It allows Europeans to see the migrant crisis through the eyes of those who have to cross continents in order to find safety and seek asylum. It shows what it feels like to be a migrant or refugee coming from a war zone in the Middle East or a poverty-stricken country in Africa. It suggests that Europe is failing migrants and refugees, and must do more to help them.
It was produced as part of Amnesty International’s campaign “When you don't exist”, which promotes the human rights of migrants, refugees and asylum-seekers in Europe and at its borders.
