Education for democracy and human rights

Democracy and human rights enable us to live in peace and guarantee the dignity of all people. But this can only be achieved if everyone respects the principles and rules of democracy and human rights. 

Relevant lifelong education from childhood onward is therefore necessary. This video explains how schools and universities can play a key role in teaching future citizens how to participate in the democratic process and combat discrimination and intolerance.
