Children are not mini-people with mini-rights!
This video raises awareness of the work of the Council of Europe regarding the treatment of children by the judicial systems of European states. It underlines the need for the special treatment of child witnesses and victims, and greater consideration of children’s rights and needs.
The Council of Europe campaigns for better treatment of children, in line with basic rights outlined in the European Convention on Humans Rights and the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child.
