Imagine a world without children's rights!

Peace, harmony and protection from harm are vital to help children discover their world.

This new video gives a taster of the many ways in which the Council of Europe is working to build a better world for children, from finding improved ways of protecting them from sexual and physical abuse, to making our justice systems more friendly for children.

The video is the first of a series marking our 70th anniversary and showcasing the many ways the Council of Europe is working to improve the lives of over 800 million Europeans in our 47 member states. Each video will invite viewers to imagine a world in which currently existing rights or protections in a specific area were suddenly taken away.
